Education

Each credential is one record at Profile → Education. The form has four sections — Location, Institution, Program, and Credential assessment (shown as ECA in the navigation).

Two answers steer everything else: the country of study, and whether the degree level is high school or post-secondary.

Section 1 — Location

Canadian study does not ask for a city here — it comes from the school you pick in the next section.

Section 2 — Institution

What this section asks depends on the country and the degree level.

Canadian post-secondary. A search over the official DLI directory, by institution name, city, province, or DLI number. Picking a school fills in the institution name, city, province, and DLI number, and the panel below reads Filled from the DLI directory. A Canadian post-secondary record without a DLI number is rejected.

Section 3 — Program

Two or more credentials is not something you select

Lexpoint’s degree level list has no “two or more degrees” option. That is derived from the records you enter, not chosen.

Section 4 — Credential assessment

For a credential from Canada the section reads Not required for Canadian credentials and asks nothing. For everywhere else:

The equivalency is the level your ECA report gives your credential, which can differ from the degree level you selected in the Program section. Enter what the report says.

The list

Credentials are shown as a timeline — programs you are still studying first, then newest graduation date first. The line under the Education heading reads N credentials · N Canadian · N foreign, and the All, Canadian, and Foreign filters narrow the list.

Element	What it does
Row	Graduation month (or Ongoing), field of study, and a caption: institution, Canadian or Foreign, degree level, Highest on your highest credential, and ECA after a dash when a foreign credential has one.
ECA required chip	A foreign credential with no ECA recorded.
Selecting a row	Opens a panel with Credential, ECA (foreign credentials), and — when Lexpoint’s DLI data has it — DLI with a PGWP row, plus Edit record →.
More actions menu	Edit and Delete. Deleting asks Delete this education record from your profile? and cannot be undone.
Export	Excel (.xlsx), JSON (Human), or JSON (Machine). Disabled until you have at least one record — Add education records to export.

Adding and editing

1. Open Profile → Education.
2. Select Add Education.
3. Work through Location, Institution, Program, and ECA with Continue. Save on the last section adds the credential.
4. To change a credential, choose Edit from its More actions menu.

Saving changes shows Education updated! Your Immireport will refresh within 24 hours.
