Something is missing from my dashboard
A widget you cannot find is almost never a fault. The dashboard places widgets that have something to say, and removes them when they stop having it. Four different rules produce a missing card, and the fix is different for each.
Every widget, what it shows, and its exact eligibility condition is in the widget reference. Start there if you want the specific condition; start here if you want to know which rule is biting.
Why widget eligibility is conditional at all
Section titled “Why widget eligibility is conditional at all”The main column holds six widgets at most, and the right sidebar three. Those are hard caps. Within them, Lexpoint decides on two questions:
- Where you are. The dashboard resolves one shape from your segment, what you have told it about your own journey, and any managed cases you hold. Reporting an invitation, retaining Lexpoint, or an application being submitted all change which widgets are in play.
- Whether the data exists. A widget with nothing to draw is not placed at all. Some render a short setup card naming what is missing instead.
Neither is a statement about your immigration prospects. A widget appearing or not is a product rule about available data. For what a program requires or what a score means, see immigratic.com or book a consultation.
The widget is not in the Widgets menu either
Section titled “The widget is not in the Widgets menu either”Cause. The Widgets menu offers at most four: ImmiReport, Latest draws, ITA deadline, and Processing time — and only the ones you currently qualify for. Everything else is either permanent (Profile, and Cases once you have case access) or placed automatically when it has something to show. Automatically placed widgets — Recommendations, Application timeline, Smart Journey, Your reported progress — are deliberately not listed in the menu, because adding one that has no data would put an empty card on your dashboard.
Fix. Open the menu and use Auto, at the top. It discards your arrangement and rebuilds the dashboard for where you are now, in the intended order.
I removed a widget and it never came back
Section titled “I removed a widget and it never came back”Cause. Hiding is a decision Lexpoint remembers. A hidden widget is filtered out of every later layout calculation, so it is never placed again on its own — not even when it becomes newly relevant. That is intentional: a card you dismissed reappearing next week would read as a bug.
Fix.
- If it is one of the four in the Widgets menu, add it straight back.
- If it is not, Auto is the only route, because Auto is what clears the hidden list.
- In the right sidebar, the same rule applies with no Auto: a removed block leaves an empty slot that stays empty until you add something to it.
Full steps are in choosing and ordering widgets.
The widget names in the menu are greyed out
Section titled “The widget names in the menu are greyed out”Cause. All six main-column slots are in use. The names stay visible but cannot be clicked. The count beside the Widgets chip — for example (6/6) — is the number in use, and Profile and Cases count toward it even though you cannot remove them.
The sidebar behaves differently: once three blocks are placed, the Add widget control is replaced by All available blocks are in your sidebar.
Fix. Remove something first, then add. Decide what you want to see rather than what you want to add — six is the cap, not a target.
Compliance and Status in Canada are nowhere
Section titled “Compliance and Status in Canada are nowhere”Cause. Those two widgets exist in the product with finished cards, but they are switched off in code for every account. The compliance product is not released, so the dashboard never places them and they never appear in any menu.
Fix. None, and none needed. This is not something about your account and nothing you change will surface them.
A widget shows a short message instead of numbers
Section titled “A widget shows a short message instead of numbers”Cause. The widget is in your layout but has nothing to draw on yet. Rather than render an empty card, Lexpoint renders a setup card naming what is missing and linking to the screen that supplies it — for example Timeline progress appears when you have an active managed case with Lexpoint, or Finish your assessment and run ImmiReport to see score improvement tips.
Fix. Follow the link on the card. The message is the instruction; there is nothing else to configure.
A widget disappeared on its own
Section titled “A widget disappeared on its own”Cause. The condition behind it stopped being true. Widgets are tied to facts about your account, and those facts move: an invitation window closes, a case moves from preparing to submitted, a managed case supersedes a self-reported one, a report finishes calculating. When the condition goes, the widget goes.
Profile and the fixed regions — the welcome line, the attention banner, and the quick actions strip — never disappear, so their absence would be a genuine fault.
Fix. Check the specific condition in the widget reference against what changed on your account recently. If the condition still holds and the widget is gone, that is worth reporting.
My layout is different on another device
Section titled “My layout is different on another device”Cause. It should not be. Your widget arrangement, your hidden list, and your Latest Draws picks are saved to your account, not your browser, so they follow you. Only the sidebar’s collapsed state and your theme are per-browser.
Fix. Confirm you are signed into the same Lexpoint account on both devices — check the email in Settings → Account on each. A different layout is usually a different account. If the account matches and the layouts differ, report it.
The page reloads every time I change something
Section titled “The page reloads every time I change something”Cause. Widget contents are calculated on the server. Rather than half-fill a new card in the browser, Lexpoint saves the change and rebuilds the dashboard, showing a short overlay while it does. Sidebar changes save without a reload.
Fix. Nothing. This is the design.
What to bring to support
Section titled “What to bring to support”Open a ticket at my.lexpoint.io/app/tickets with:
- The widget’s name as it appears on the card, or in the Widgets menu — the two differ for a few widgets.
- The count shown beside the Widgets chip, for example (5/6).
- Whether you have already tried Auto, and what happened.
- What changed on your account recently — a new case, a reported invitation, a completed report.
- Whether it is missing on every device or only one.

Frequently asked questions
I hid a widget by accident. How do I get it back?
If it is one of the four in the Widgets menu — ImmiReport, Latest draws, ITA deadline, Processing time — add it back from there. If it is not, Auto is the only route. Auto clears your hidden list along with the rest of your arrangement.
Why is there no Compliance widget?
Compliance and Status in Canada are built but switched off, for every account. The compliance product is not released, so the dashboard never places them. Nothing is wrong with your account.
Why did a widget vanish without me touching anything?
Widgets follow what is true for your account. When the condition behind one stops being true — a case moved on, an invitation window closed — the widget goes with it. Profile and the quick actions strip never do.
