Profile → Annual Income records tax-year income from Canadian returns. The page describes it as being used for provincial streams.

This is the shortest form in your profile — a single Details section with four fields.

Two banners can appear above the list.

BannerWhen it shows
Green — Your profile is flagged as meeting the $40,000+ annual income threshold where it applies to program scoring.Your profile carries the income flag.
Neutral — You have at least one primary record with gross income ≥ $40,000. Eligibility flags refresh when your ImmiReport / profile recalculates. You have such a record but the flag has not been set yet.

The gap between the two is timing, not error. Saving a record does not recalculate your report on the spot — see How your profile is used.

Only records with Primary income record on are counted toward that threshold.

  1. Open Profile → Annual Income.
  2. Select Add income record.
  3. Fill in the four fields and save.
  4. On the list, the pencil icon reopens a record and the bin icon deletes it after a confirmation.

The line under the heading summarises how many records you have, the latest tax year, and whether the $40,000 threshold is met. Each card shows the gross amount. Primary records are the default and are not badged; a Secondary chip appears only on a record with Primary income record turned off.

Frequently asked questions

Which figure do I enter as gross income?

Total income before major deductions — the line 150 figure on your return — in Canadian dollars.

Can I add two records for the same year?

Yes, if they are different document types. The form notes one row per year per document type.

I added a record over $40,000 but the green banner has not appeared. Why?

The flag is set when your ImmiReport and profile recalculate, not the moment you save. Until then the page shows a neutral note saying the eligibility flags will refresh.
