Dashboard, inbox, and support
The dashboard at /employer/dashboard is the
overview of your people and what is waiting on you. Inbox and Support sit in the
Workspace group of the left navigation.
The dashboard
Section titled “The dashboard”Four cards run across the top.
| Card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Employees | Everyone connected, with how many are visible and how many are hidden by consent |
| Need attention | People whose permit is expiring or expired |
| Waiting on you | Letters to sign and leave requests |
| Open invites | Invitations awaiting an answer, and how many have expired |
Below them:
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Permit horizon | The next 12 months of permit expiry dates, as shared by each person |
| Who works here | A ring split into Date on file, Permit date missing, and Not shared |
| Waiting on you | Up to six items, each with Sign → or Review → |
| Your Lexpoint contact | Your named consultant — see below |
| Employees | The first five visible people, with role, site, and permit fact. All employees → opens the roster |
Permit dates are what each person shared on their own Lexpoint record. The product labels them not a work-authorization conclusion, and so does this documentation. Immigration status (temporary resident, permanent resident, citizen) is not on the employer file.
Invite employee at the top right opens the invitation dialog once invitations are open — see Set up your employer workspace.
Inbox has three tabs.
| Tab | What it lists |
|---|---|
| Needs you | Letters ready to sign and leave requests, grouped by day. The number on Inbox in the navigation is this count |
| All activity | The same items plus expired invitations, with Send again → |
| Expiry digests | Empty. Permit expiry digests are not scheduled yet |
The bell in the header shows the same items.
Your Lexpoint contact
Section titled “Your Lexpoint contact”Your Lexpoint contact on the dashboard shows one of three states:
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| A name, credential line, and Replies within one business day | A regulated consultant is assigned to your workspace |
| Not assigned yet | Lexpoint has not assigned a consultant yet |
| Included on a higher plan | A named consultant is part of some Workforce plans, not yours |
When a consultant is shown, the card names the firm they are licensed to advise at and states that the listing is not a retainer. Case work is agreed with that firm, not with Lexpoint.
Support
Section titled “Support”Support shows your contact and your plan. In-portal messaging is not switched on for employer workspaces yet, so the message box and Book a call are inactive. When a contact is assigned, the page tells you to reach them by email.
Related
Section titled “Related”- The workforce roster — the full list behind the dashboard
- Letter requests — what to do with a letter waiting on you
- Leave — deciding leave requests
Frequently asked questions
Does the dashboard tell me whether an employee is authorized to work?
No. It shows the permit expiry date each person shared on their own Lexpoint record. It is a file fact for review, not a work-authorization conclusion.
Can I message my Lexpoint contact from the workspace?
Not yet. In-portal messaging is not switched on for employer workspaces. The Support page says so and names your contact.
