Your team and roles

/employer/settings/team·Requires the Owner role to invite, change, or remove anyone

Team is the short list of people who run the employer workspace — your operators. It is not a staff directory. The people you employ are invited from Workforce and never appear here.

Team lives at Settings → Team.

RoleWhat they can do
OwnerEverything HR can do, plus invite and remove operators, change roles, and connect the Google Workspace directory
HRRun the workforce: invite employees, keep employment records, handle letter requests and leave, set workforce policies, and open reports

Anyone can be both an operator and an employee of the same business. Those are two separate records: an operator seat here, and a workforce connection in their own account.

Only an owner sees Invite a colleague.

  1. Enter their work email.
  2. Choose HR or Owner. HR is selected by default.
  3. Select Invite.

Lexpoint emails them an invitation, and the page shows Invite created. Share this link: with a Copy button, in case you want to send the link yourself. The invitation expires in 14 days.

Open invitations are listed under Pending invites with the role and expiry date. Copy link copies the link again. Revoke cancels it after you confirm.

Each operator row shows their name, email, and identity state: Identity confirmed, Identity check in progress, or Identity not confirmed. On your own row, Confirm identity takes you to the identity check.

As an owner, you can:

  • Change a role with the menu on the row. Making someone an owner asks you to confirm that they will be able to invite and change roles. Changing an owner to HR confirms that they keep workforce access and lose team admin.
  • Remove someone. After you confirm, they lose access to the employer workspace.

You cannot change your own role or remove yourself. The only owner shows Last owner and cannot be changed or removed until there is a second owner.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add an employee to the team so they can see the company workspace?

No. Team is only for the people who run the workspace. Employees are invited from Workforce, and everything they do happens in their own Lexpoint account.

How long does a team invitation last?

14 days. The expiry date shows under Pending invites. Revoke it and send a new one if it lapses.

Can the last owner be removed?

No. The only owner cannot be removed or changed to HR. Make someone else an owner first.
