# A worker's page and what you can see

Select anyone on the roster to open their page. It opens only while the connection is **active** and
the person shares both **roster visibility** and **employer servicing**. If either is missing, or the
connection has ended, the page sends you back to Workforce.

```media
id: workforce-worker-page
type: screenshot
caption: A worker's page on Overview — permit fact, passport slot, terms, what is still needed from them, and what they share with you.
shot: /employer/workforce/<linkId>?tab=overview on a demo connection with a confirmed current employment period, a permit date on file, identity confirmed, and one profile gap. Light mode, 1440×900 cropped to 1383×776. Redact the worker's name, email, and avatar, the job title and worksite in the header, the breadcrumb name, and the organization name in the sidebar.
```

## Header

The header shows the person's name, job title, worksite, **Connected since** date, an
**Identity confirmed** pill when Lexpoint has confirmed their identity, and their email.

- **New letter** opens [Letters](/workforce/letters/letter-requests/). Letters start with the
  employee's request; you cannot start one for them.
- **Start new terms** appears while the person has no employment period yet, and creates the first
  one — see [Employment periods](/workforce/people/employment-periods/).

## Tabs

| Tab | What it holds |
|---|---|
| **Overview** | Permit, passport, and terms facts, what is still needed from them, and what they share with you |
| **Employment** | Their employment periods at your business, newest first |
| **Right to work** | *Not shared*. Their authorization record appears here only after they choose to share it |
| **Letters** | Their letter requests and each request's status |
| **Leave** | Their leave, the vacation entitlement that applies to them, and **Record leave** |
| **Documents** | Empty. Company copies of worker documents are not enabled |
| **Notes** | Empty. Private notes are not available yet |
| **Activity** | Changes to this connection, newest first |

## Overview

| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| **Permit** | The permit expiry date the person shared, with **On file**, **Expiring** (within 90 days), **Expired**, or **Missing** |
| **Passport** | **Not shared** — it would arrive with a shared right-to-work record |
| **Terms** | **Confirmed** with start date, hours, and wage; **Draft** while terms are unconfirmed; or **Not set** |

**Still needed from them** lists what the person has not finished in their own Lexpoint account:
**Profile**, with the names of unfinished profile sections, and **Identity**, if their identity is
not confirmed. It reads **Nothing outstanding** when both are done. These are support gaps, not a
statement about work authorization.

**What *name* shares with you** shows four chips: **Roster visibility** and **Employer servicing**
(granted when they accepted), and **Right-to-work record** and **PR progress**, both
*not shared*.

## What you can see, and why

The person granted a narrow consent when they accepted your invitation. That consent is what lets
this page load.

| You see | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Name, email, profile photo | Their Lexpoint account |
| Whether Lexpoint confirmed their identity | Their account — the status only |
| Permit expiry date | The date on their own Lexpoint record |
| Date connected | The connection |
| Names of unfinished profile sections | Their account — the section names only |
| Job titles from their own work history, where the employer name matches yours | Shown as **Profile job match** in the employment editor |
| Employment periods, leave, letter requests, activity | Your own records of the relationship |

You do **not** see their immigration profile, their ImmiReport or scores, their documents, any case
they have, or their immigration status. Nothing on this page is a conclusion about whether they may
work in Canada.

The person controls the connection from their own account and can end it at any time. The employee's
side is described in [What your employer can see](/individuals/employment/what-your-employer-sees/).

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I see an employee's ImmiReport, documents, or case?

No. A workforce connection never shows the person's ImmiReport, scores, documents, or cases, and the employer file does not hold their immigration status.

### Why does the Passport card say Not shared?

Passport dates would arrive only with a shared right-to-work record, and that share does not exist yet. The card states the gap instead of hiding it.

### Why did a worker's page stop opening?

The connection is no longer active — the person ended it — so the page redirects to Workforce and the person appears under History.
