# What ImmiReport is

ImmiReport takes the profile you built and evaluates it against every immigration program Lexpoint
covers, then keeps that evaluation current as your profile changes. It is the calculated layer of
your Lexpoint account: nothing on it is typed in by hand.

## What it covers

Lexpoint splits coverage into permanent residence and temporary residence.

**Permanent residence** — the hub lists these families, each with its own hub and detail pages:

| Family | What Lexpoint evaluates |
|---|---|
| Express Entry | FSW, CEC, FST, plus the category streams — French, Healthcare, STEM, Trade, Education |
| Ontario (OINP) | Workforce Priority pathways, TEER 0-3 and TEER 4-5 |
| Québec (PSTQ) | Four streams, with an Arrima score |
| BCPNP | Skilled Worker plus the Health, Childcare, Education, Veterinary, and Construction lanes |
| AAIP | Tourism, Opportunity, and the Express Entry sub-pathways |
| SINP | Tech, Health, Students, Agriculture, existing work permit, and the ISW streams |
| MPNP | Career Employment, Skilled Worker in Manitoba, and Skilled Worker Overseas |
| NSNP | Graduate, Physician, Construction, Skilled Worker, Occupations in Demand, and the EE streams |
| PEIPNP | Skilled Worker, Critical Worker, Occupations in Demand, Graduate, Intermediate Experience, EE |
| Atlantic Immigration | Worker and International Graduate pathways |
| Family Sponsorship | Spouse and common-law sponsorship |

**Temporary residence** — visitor visa (TRV), eTA, and study permit are assessed. The work permit
page exists but is labelled **Coming soon**: stream matching is not built yet, so Lexpoint shows the
processing time and says plainly that it cannot yet tell you which stream fits.

## What it does not do

- **It does not apply for anything.** ImmiReport is an assessment surface. Filing happens through a
  case, after a retainer.
- **It does not state immigration law.** Lexpoint evaluates your facts against criteria published by
IRCC and the provinces. For the criteria themselves, and for research on how programs work, see
  [immigratic.com](https://www.immigratic.com).
- **It does not replace advice.** A calculated result is not an opinion on your case. Book a
  consultation when you need one.
- **It is only as good as your profile.** Every number is derived from what you entered. A missing
language test does not lower your score — it makes several programs undecidable.

## Unlocking it

ImmiReport needs four profile sections before it will show scores:

1. **Personal Info** — date of birth, citizenship country, and marital status must all be present
2. **Work History** — at least one entry
3. **Education** — at least one entry
4. **Language** — at least one test

Until all four hold data, the report page renders a card in place naming the sections still missing,
with a link straight to the first one. Lexpoint does not bounce you to the profile without
explanation.

If your account was migrated from Lexpoint's earlier system, you are asked to confirm those four
sections are still accurate before scores appear. The card reads *Confirm your migrated profile*.

## When it recalculates

Four things trigger a calculation, and they behave differently on purpose.

**The first time you complete your profile — immediately.** The moment the fourth section has data,
Lexpoint generates the report and calculates it, so a new profile never lands on an empty report.

**Every profile edit after that — marked stale, then recalculated on a schedule.** Changes to any of
six tables mark the report stale: personal info, work history, education history, language tests,
job offers, and letters of acceptance. Lexpoint does not recalculate on the spot. A banner appears
across the top of every ImmiReport page reading *Immireport will refresh in a few minutes*, and a
scheduled batch job picks it up.

**On demand, with ImmiReport Pro.** Pro accounts get a **Refresh** button beside the report title and
a **Refresh now** link on the stale banner. It recalculates scores, eligibility, and rankings for
every program at once, shows a confirmation, and reloads the page. Free accounts see the same
controls with a Pro badge; selecting one opens the upgrade panel rather than recalculating.

**Automatic refresh is included free.** Pro buys you the *timing*, not the calculation.

## Freshness at a glance

Beside the CRS score is a small badge. When the report is current it reads **Up to date**, and
hovering it shows when the last recalculation ran — *just now*, *42 min ago*, *3 days ago*. When the
report is stale the badge disappears entirely, because the banner at the top of the page is already
saying so; Lexpoint never shows two competing freshness messages.

## Frequently asked questions

### Why is my ImmiReport locked?

ImmiReport unlocks once four profile sections hold data — Personal Info (date of birth, citizenship, marital status), Work History, Education, and Language. Until then the page shows which sections are still missing and a link to complete them. Lexpoint never redirects you away silently.

### Does editing my profile update my report immediately?

No. An edit marks the report stale and it is recalculated on the next scheduled run — a banner reads "Immireport will refresh in a few minutes". The one exception is the first time you complete your profile, which calculates right away. ImmiReport Pro adds a "Refresh now" button for on-demand recalculation.

### Is ImmiReport a legal opinion on whether I qualify?

No. Lexpoint evaluates the facts in your profile against criteria published by IRCC and the provinces, and shows you the result. It is not advice, and it does not replace an assessment by a licensed representative. Book a consultation for that.
