# Provincial programs

Provincial programs sit under the Permanent Residence hub at
[`/app/immireport/pr`](https://my.lexpoint.io/app/immireport/pr), split into a **Federal** group and a
**Provincial** group. Each provincial row carries a count badge — eligible streams over streams
evaluated — and a caption that shows your score for that province once one exists, or *Check
eligibility* when it does not.

Two federal programs sit in the same list because they behave like provincial ones on the report:
**Atlantic Immigration**, with worker and international graduate pathways, and **Family
Sponsorship**, covering spouse and common-law sponsorship.

## How each hub is laid out

Provincial hubs group streams into sections and show a count beside each section heading. The
grouping follows how the province actually runs its streams:

- **Job Offer Programs** — streams that depend on an offer of employment
- **Express Entry streams** — the province's streams that draw from the federal pool
- **Skills Immigration** and **Targeted invitations** on BCPNP
- **Ontario Workforce Priority** on OINP, with the older streams collapsed below it

Where a stream has enough detail to warrant it, the stream card links to a full program page with the
usual sections: how selection works, requirements, competitiveness, and next steps.

## The score shown for each province

The number in a province's caption on the ImmiReport hub is that province's own ranking score, not
your CRS score. Which score Lexpoint shows depends on how the province publishes its scoring:

| Québec | *Arrima N* |
| BCPNP, AAIP, SINP, NSNP | The province's score total, shown as *N points* |
| Manitoba, PEI | The strongest total Lexpoint found in that province's scoring blocks |

When Lexpoint has no score for a province, the caption reads **Check eligibility** instead of showing
a zero.

Manitoba and PEI score their streams separately rather than producing one provincial number, so
Lexpoint surfaces the highest of them — for Manitoba that is normally the expression-of-interest
ranking, for PEI the strongest single stream.

:::caution[A score is not eligibility]
The badge and the caption answer different questions. `2/6` means you clear two of six streams;
`412 points` means the province's scoring produced that total. Neither one implies the other, which
is why the requirements section on a stream page always comes before its score chart.

## Archived streams

When a province stops accepting new applications for a stream, Lexpoint does not delete it. It moves
into a collapsed **Archived** section on the hub, marked *Not accepting new applications · kept for
reference / grandfathered cases*. Archived streams:

- are excluded from the count badge on the ImmiReport hub
- are excluded from the stream switcher at the top of program pages
- keep their detail page, so an in-flight or grandfathered application still has somewhere to read

OINP and BCPNP both use this pattern today.

## Where the criteria come from

Lexpoint evaluates your profile against criteria published by each province and by IRCC. It does not
define them, and it does not decide nominations. For the criteria themselves, and for research on how

## Frequently asked questions

### Why does a province show a score of zero when I am eligible for one of its streams?

Eligibility and score are separate. The count badge tallies the streams Lexpoint found you eligible for; the score is the provincial or EOI ranking total Lexpoint calculated. A stream you clear may not be one that produces a ranking score.

### Where did the older OINP streams go?

They are in a collapsed "Archived" section on the OINP hub, labelled "Not accepting new applications · kept for reference / grandfathered cases". Their detail pages still open, and they are excluded from the OINP count on the ImmiReport hub. BCPNP archives discontinued lanes the same way.

### Does Lexpoint cover every province?

No. ImmiReport covers Ontario, Québec, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island, plus the Atlantic Immigration Program. Provinces and territories not listed here are not evaluated.
