# Free and Pro

A free Lexpoint account is a working account, not a trial. Your profile, your report, your program
pages, and your scores are free and stay free. ImmiReport Pro is a paid tier on top that adds tools
for changing, comparing, and accelerating what the free report already shows you.

Your plan is at
[**Settings, Billing & Plan**](https://my.lexpoint.io/app/settings/billing). The card at the top
reads **Free Plan** or **ImmiReport Pro**, with a matching badge and your member-since date.

## What free includes

| Included free | What it means |
|---|---|
| Program pages & scores | Every program page Lexpoint publishes for you, and the scores it calculates. |
| Share links | Links that let someone else view your report. |
| Automatic refresh | Your report recalculates on its own when your profile changes. |
| 10 Lexi messages a month | The AI assistant, with a monthly message allowance. |
| 1 Work Experience Check | One job — your first — including re-checks of that same job. |

## What Pro adds

| Pro feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| CRS & eligibility simulator | Change language, work, or family details and see the score that combination produces. |
| Instant report refresh | Recalculate every program now, instead of waiting for the next scheduled run. |
| Primary job offer switching | Choose which job offer drives your scores, and compare the results. |
| See who viewed your report | When each share link was opened, and how often. |
| Work Experience Check, every role | Check every job rather than only the one free job, and re-check any of them. |
| Lexi AI, up to 100× the free message limit | A far larger monthly allowance than the free 10. |

:::caution[One Pro feature is not shipped yet]
An **AI coached plan** — your report turned into ordered, dated steps — is listed on Pro surfaces
with an *In development* marker. It is not available today. Do not subscribe for it.

### About the Lexi allowance

Pro is merchandised as *up to* 100 times the free limit rather than a flat message count, and the
wording is deliberate. The paid tier also carries a spend ceiling, and whichever limit is reached
first stops further messages that month. Heavy use can therefore stop below the headline number.

## Price

| Plan | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $29 CAD per month | Billed monthly. |
| Yearly | $290 CAD per year | Works out to $24.17 a month — $58 less than twelve monthly payments. |

Checkout is handled by Stripe, in Canadian dollars, and a subscription can be cancelled at any time
from Billing.

## Upgrading

**Upgrade to Pro** appears on the Billing page in two places — on the plan card and in the
**Manage Subscription** section — and both start Stripe checkout on the monthly plan. You are
returned to Billing when checkout finishes or when you abandon it.

Pro features you have not paid for do not silently fail; selecting one opens an upgrade dialog that
names the feature you reached for, offers a **Billing period** choice between monthly and yearly,
and states plainly that *Your free plan doesn't change*.

:::note[The plan card lists a short summary, not the full feature list]
The four lines on the Billing plan card are a summary. The table above is the complete list of what
Pro changes.

## Managing an existing subscription

| Section on the Billing page | On a free account | On Pro |
|---|---|---|
| **Current Plan** | *Free Plan*, with **Upgrade to Pro**. | *ImmiReport Pro*, with your Pro features listed. |
| **Manage Subscription** | *No Active Subscription*, with **Upgrade to Pro**. | *Active Subscription*, with **Manage Subscription** — update payment method, change plan, or cancel. |
| **Payment Methods** | *No Payment Methods* — one is added when you upgrade. | **Update Payment Method**, which opens the same payment portal. |

Cancelling, changing plan, and changing card all happen in the payment portal reached from those
buttons, not on the Lexpoint page itself.

## Case fees are separate

Two more sections on the same page — **Payment schedule** and **Case statements** — have nothing to
do with Pro. They cover fees for a case you have retained Lexpoint to work on. With no case, the
schedule reads *Nothing due* — *You're caught up on case fees* — and the statements section reads
*No case statements available yet*.

Subscribing to Pro does not retain Lexpoint for a case, and retaining Lexpoint for a case does not
grant Pro.

## If something looks wrong

The Billing page ends with *Questions about billing?* and a link to support. Use it for a charge you
do not recognize or a plan that does not match what you paid for.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do I need to pay to see my ImmiReport?

No. Program pages and the scores Lexpoint calculates for you are free, and your report refreshes automatically. Pro adds tools on top of the report; it does not put the report behind a wall.

### What does ImmiReport Pro cost?

$29 CAD a month, or $290 CAD a year. The yearly plan works out to $24.17 a month, which is $58 less than paying monthly.

### How do I cancel?

On the Billing page, open Manage Subscription. That opens the payment portal, where you can update your payment method, change plan, or cancel.

### Is hiring Lexpoint for a case included in Pro?

No. Pro is a subscription to ImmiReport tools. Fees for a case you have retained Lexpoint for are billed separately and appear under Payment schedule and Case statements on the same Billing page.
