# Lexpoint for Individuals

**Lexpoint — Individuals** is the workspace at [`my.lexpoint.io/app`](https://my.lexpoint.io/app)
for people managing their own Canadian immigration.

Everything starts with **one profile, and it belongs to you**. You build it once. It produces your
**ImmiReport** — where you stand across federal and provincial programs — and the same record carries
into consultations, proposals, cases, the forms filed on your behalf, and the compliance dates that
follow a permit. One profile, kept current, doing all of that work.

**Who sees it is your decision, and the default is no one.** You can share a read-only ImmiReport by
link, and you can grant an immigration professional access to your profile or a case. Both are
revocable at any time. An employer you connect to on Lexpoint is a separate and much narrower
relationship: they see agreed employment facts, never your immigration profile, your ImmiReport, your
documents, or your cases.

When you want professional help you book a **consultation** and receive a **proposal**. Accepting it
opens a **case**, where you and your representative work through documents, forms, and submission
together.

:::note[Where advice comes from]
Lexpoint is software: it stores your profile, calculates from it, and keeps your case in order.
It does not give immigration advice and is not a representative. A **default servicing
organization** (Immigratic today) is a routing default for a consultation or case — listing it does
not create a retainer or a client–counsel relationship. This documentation describes what the
product does; program rules are set by IRCC and the provinces. See
[Lexpoint and professional advice](/individuals/consultations/who-advises-you/).
